Pairs

Many people have large rooms that have a dividing wall. It has become very popular to install a pair of internal double doors or room dividers so that the large room can be divided into two rooms. A room divider is a pair of internal double doors that can come with sidelights and will come with a casing. A pair of double doors does not come with a casing and are designed to be fitted into existing casings. Most pair of double doors and room dividers come with doors that are rebated. This means they have an L shape cut into the end of each door. This enables the pair of internal double doors to slot into each other. While most pairs or internal double doors and room dividers come rebated it is not really necessary. Most people think the reason for this is that it stops the doors from passing each other when closing them. The casing will prevent this from happening so you do not have to purchase a pair of internal double doors. You can always purchase two internal doors as long as they fit your opening. This will give you a much larger choice of designs to choose from. Pairs of internal double doors were actually rebated to prevent the wind and rain from entering a property. So in less it is raining in doors you do not need to purchase a rebated pair of internal double doors. Pairs and room dividers, are available in oak and also white primed, which only require a coat of paint. The majority of pairs and room dividers, are available glazed with either clear, obscure or bevelled glass. All the glass is toughened.
