The Most Popular Internal Doors Are Pine

A person who is thinking of changing the décor of rooms in their home must not forget to change the look of their internal doors. The first impression of a new room starts at the doorway with an internal door being on view before a visitor sees your newly decorated room. One of the traditions that both modern and traditional homes appear to favour are pine doors. Pine doors tend to complement most hallways and rooms that lead off from that welcoming space.

At Kaybee Doors we are happy to provide you with either internal doors or external doors. Our pine doors are made from solid timber which has been ‘over veneered’ to provide the stability required for internal doors.

When constructing pine doors there is always going to be a slight variation in the wood grain. However, all our pine doors have the simple clean lines that complement any room in a home.

If you are thinking of wood staining your internal doors then remember that pine doors look really beautiful when waxed. However, the inside of a pine door for a bathroom should not be waxed at all.

Whatever your home’s dimensions or age, whether it is a new build or a traditional home, pine doors used as internal doors do not seem to ever go out of fashion. Their popularity does not mean that they lack style.

Tip: Always place your doors in a well-ventilated room away from moisture and humidity until your room is complete.
