Blog November 2016 – Easi-Slide Frame And Track Room Divider Door System

Are you fed up of tripping over the kids toys when they’ve gone to bed? Do you wish you had a separate room for their toys? Maybe you’ve always wanted a dining room instead of such a big sitting room, or perhaps you just want to be able to shut the kitchen off from the sitting room, but have it open plan when you’re entertaining.

Well the Easi-Slide Frame is the perfect neat solution as it allows you to fit doors as room dividers that can then be pushed back when you want a big open plan space for entertaining or to keep an eye on the kids as they play. It can then be closed up again when it’s not needed. Might just come in handy when you don’t want to heat a big space now the colder days are approaching.

The system comes in three configurations and so can fit many different apertures making it such a flexible solution for your home. You can have up to four doors meaning that this really is a great solution for dividing up wide and narrower spaces. The doors are designed so that they slide as opposed to folding. This means that when you have them pushed back, you have a sleeker finish and more space.

The frame and track comes in a choice of Oak or White Primed and is designed to fit with standard door sizes from within our range. We recommend you take a look at the Shaker, Worcester or Pattern 10 as in our experience they work beautifully as sliding doors.

The Easi-Slide comes with a frame, all sliding door hardware and a pair maker. Once you have this kit you have loads of choice as to which door style fits with your home. Adding doors doesn’t have to make your room dark. As you can see in the picture below, you can use glazed doors to ensure that you still have a light and airy space even if you divide your room. Don’t forget you can also choose the handles and locks from our range to compliment your choice of doors.
